Meeting point :  Arusha

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and private transfer to Arusha. Relax at the lodge or explore the city at your own pace.

Stay: Njiro Legacy – Arusha

Meals: Dinner served at the lodge, featuring freshly prepared local and international cuisine.

DAY 1 ARUSHA → TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK → KARATU

Morning drive to Tarangire National Park for extensive game drives among baobab trees and large elephant herds. Picnic lunch inside the park. Afternoon transfer to Karatu.

Stay: Mvuli Lodge – Karatu

Meals: Breakfast at the lodge, picnic lunch in Tarangire National Park, and dinner at the lodge in Karatu.

DAY 2KARATU → NDUTU (SOUTH SERENGETI)

Drive toward the Ndutu plains, famous for wildebeest calving and predator activity. Enjoy game viewing en route before arriving at camp.

Stay: Kontiki Ndutu Camp

Meals: Breakfast at the lodge, lunch during the journey, and dinner served at the camp.

DAY 3FULL-DAY NDUTU SAFARI

A full day of game drives in the Ndutu area, focusing on wildebeest calving grounds and big cat sightings. Flexible safari schedule to maximize wildlife encounters.

DAY 4 FULL-DAY NDUTU SAFARI

Another full day exploring Ndutu’s plains and woodlands, offering excellent opportunities for predator-prey interactions and photography.

DAY 5NDUTU → CENTRAL SERENGETI

Morning departure toward Central Serengeti, the heart of the ecosystem. Game drives en route through wildlife-rich areas around the Seronera Valley.

Stay: Golden Safari Camp (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast at camp, lunch during the journey, and dinner at the Serengeti camp.

DAY 6CENTRAL SERENGETI → NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS

Final Serengeti game drive followed by a scenic journey to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Optional visit to Olduvai Gorge Museum along the way.

Stay: Mvuli Lodge – Ngorongoro Highlands (or similar)

Meals: Breakfast at camp, lunch during the drive, and dinner at the lodge.

DAY 7NGORONGORO CRATER → ARUSHA → KILIMANJARO AIRPORT

Early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari, one of Africa’s richest wildlife areas. Picnic lunch inside the crater, followed by transfer to Arusha and onward to Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Meals: Breakfast at the lodge and picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro.

No special trekking or high-altitude fitness is required, but participants should be comfortable with long game drives, early morning starts, and full days in the vehicle. This is a private safari experience with flexible wildlife viewing schedules.

Meals to bring / dietary information

Full-board meals are included throughout the safari (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as outlined in the itinerary. Picnic lunches are provided during full-day game drives and long transfers between destinations.
